PLACES I CALL HOME

BELGRADO DI VARMO (ITALY)

This is my homeplace... Belgrado di Varmo, a tiny village. Very close you can see the Tagliamento River, a real wonder of nature! It's the last natural alpine river in Europe and it's amazing for scientists, in particular hydrologists (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG_NoxFtbGE). Tagliamento is great also for swimming and hiking!

MADRID (SPAIN)

This is my current home in Madrid, in the multi-cultural neighborood of Lavapiés!

Great area to live in Madrid, lots of culture and street life!

BARCELONA (SPAIN)

Barcelona has also been my home for a while, and some of my best friends live there! I've been living there in 2006, 2008 and during my PhD (2010-2014). In particular, I've been developing my PhD at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (www.bsc.es).
