Tagliamento river is finalists at AGU video contest 2015!

My sister an I, we participated to the AGU (American Geophisical Union) student's videos contest.

Our video is inspired in our homeland and the internal and external conflicts that we experience in our lives as researchers. The internal conflict is one of leaving home for education and experience to improve as a scientists while the external conflict relates to one of the last naturally flowing alpine rivers, the Tagliamento. The video is a personal reflection on how we relate conflict in our lives to conflict related to our work.

The winner and his/her collaborators will have free registration to the AGU conference to be held in S. Francisco, probably the most important scientific conference in our field of study. We have been selected as finalists! :) If we get the greater number of likes, we'll have the chance to partially circumvent the financial cost of the conference and participate! It would be a really great opportunity for us both!!!!

Please, vote our video giving it a 'like' on youtube! Also, feel free to pass the link to any friend that may know me and/or appreciate our attempt and want to help us!!!

You can see the other finalists on the right (we are 3 in total).

Unfortunately the video quality is low, but i guarantee you that the Tagliamento is beautiful and deserves its fame. By the way, you're all invited to visit it in Belgrado next time I spend some time home in Italy :)

Thanks for supporting us!!!

Many thanks!
